Development Manager

The role:

We have partnered with a rapidly expanding developer within US Solar + storage. They are searching for 2 Senior Developers to manage over 1.6GW of projects through the development pipeline to COD.

Responsibilities:

• Managing solar project development through to NTP/ COD, dependent on the project
• Identifying and evaluating opportunities to develop or acquire renewable, storage, and thermal power generation assets in support of corporate growth targets for the US development team
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with load-serving entities, project stakeholders, project developers, and other market participants.
• Leading regional business development activity
• Working with senior leadership to decide strategic development plan regionally
• Opportunity to manage/ mentor Junior Developers if desired

Essential Skills/ Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of development experience within utility-scale projects (Projects 10MW plus
• Comfortable owning responsibility for a region
• Need to have held responsibility for the whole lifecycle – origination through to NTP/COD

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

• Battery storage experience is an added plus
• Previous experience managing/ mentoring junior Developers
